Star Legacy: what's behind this game

Hello from Sliced Games Studios

Today I want to tell you about my very first game: Star Legacy which is available for free on the Google Play Store!

If you play Star Legacy you will probably think that it is easy to create, and in fact this is what I thought at the beginning but after 2 months when I saw that the game was 20% completed I realized that it was not easy at all.

To make the menu, the update sections, the different locations, the boss, the options, the graphics and everything else it took me 8/9 months and it was frustrating when your friends asked you about the game and you have said it wasn't finished.

I remember one thing in particular: the graphics, in fact when I made the first Alpha of Star Legacy I used the standard rendering engine of Unity and it was not bad at all, but when I decided to add the Post Processing Engine to Star Legacy the fps of the game dropped dramatically to 15 and got scared because I saw my blueprints go to the trash. It was a really bad time ...

But if you fall you have to get up! And in fact when I solved the problem using Unity's Universal Rendering Engine I was able to continue developing the game.

Now I know Star Legacy isn't perfection, but it matters to me as I've spent nearly a year on this game and it's now on the Play Store.

After the battle I have reached the end, the epilogue just like Star Legacy: when you finish all the objectives there is one last battle and you have to be ready.

Now I am struggling to show my game to more people, also through this post.

I hope this post is a support for all those who are fighting for their projects!
